What we believe
Everyone should have the right to pass on what they want, to who they want, without the government making that choice for them.
Without a will, it does: the government’s intestacy rules decide who inherits, whatever you would have wanted. House & Heirs’s mission is a will for every family in England and Wales: quick, simple and at a price anyone can afford, so what you have goes to who you choose.
What we stand for
- Your own numbers first, before anyone sells you anything.
- Decisions about the house belong to whoever owns it.
- A trust to “protect the house from care fees” does not work.
How we are paid
- The check is free.
- The House Plan is £89, paid once.
- Satisfaction guarantee: a full refund within 14 days.
- Advisers and solicitors pay a monthly fee to offer the check to their own clients.
- A regulated firm we introduce you to may pay us. We tell you first.
When a firm pays us
Only if you ask for an introduction and go ahead with them. It does not change what you pay them.
A small team, not a law firm
- A person checks every plan before it is released.
- Wills use the form of words solicitors use: the STEP Standard Provisions, 3rd edition.
- If you need a solicitor instead, we say so plainly.
- Payments go through Stripe. We never see your card.

We are not a firm of solicitors, we are not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and we are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Where you ask us to, we introduce you to regulated firms, and we tell you first if they pay us.
