For people using the check

• The check and the report are free, and are estimates and information only. They are not financial, mortgage, tax or legal advice and do not recommend any product, provider or course of action.
• Figures depend on the rules in force on the date shown and on the answers you give. Rules change; the Budget on 28 October 2026 may change them.
• We are not a law firm and are not regulated by the FCA or the SRA. Any regulated firm we introduce you to is responsible for its own advice.
• You must not rely on the report to give away or transfer any asset. Take independent legal advice first.

The draft will

• Where your answers show a straightforward estate, the plan produces a draft will from a standard form of words, checked by a member of our team who is not a solicitor. It becomes a valid will only when you sign it in ink in front of two adult witnesses who then sign in your presence, exactly as the signing guide describes.
• Where your answers show anything that needs a solicitor, the plan tells you so and gives you complete instructions to take to one instead. You must not use the draft in those cases.
• You are responsible for reading the draft and confirming it says what you want before you sign it. If anything is unclear, email us before signing and we will explain it or tell you to see a solicitor.
